Companionship and Support
Friendly companionship services
and how does it work?
Companionship can have huge benefits to the mental and physical health and wellbeing of a person. Social interaction can be an important factor in preventing isolation and loneliness in the elderly. At Carepoint, we believe that companionship is important and recognise that whilst completing daily activities, having a friendly and trusted visitor to talk to can really put a smile on someone’s face.
Thousands of families, just like yours, trust and rely on Carepoint to provide companionship and support services to their loved ones. We provide bespoke support, offering much needed companionship, help with routine household tasks or simply a friend to share interests and enjoy hobbies with.
Our companionship services include:
Social interaction in the community
Support with using public transport and escorting on journeys
Respite for family CareGivers
Company whilst doing hobbies
Help with everyday tasks, shopping for food or clothes
A friend to listen and talk to
Support on a day trip or even further afield
We offer person-centred and engaging companionship and support. All of our CareGivers are carefully matched to each of their Clients through their interests and personalities, building trust and genuine friendships.
Companionship services in your own home
They were so helpful to us. Mum really loves her carer, she's like family and showed her how to use facetime so she can see her grandkids.
Such a lovely care company! Truly look after their clients. Very happy
Thank you so much! It means so much to me!
